The NHTF Campaign remains committed to obtaining dedicated revenue sources to capitalize the NHTF in the 112^th Congress. Meetings with HUD and White House officials and Hill champions of the NHTF to debrief and regroup after the last minute defeat in December are at the top of the agenda. The NHTF Campaign will propose several sources of dedicated revenue.

Members of the DC-based NHTF Policy Group are scheduling meetings with all new Members of Congress to educate them about the need for the NHTF in their districts and the amount of funding that will come to their states once the NHTF is capitalized. State and local advocates with new Representatives or Senators are encouraged to reach out to their elected officials as well.
