Congressional Briefing on Homelessness and Housing Instability Among Veterans

NLIHC is partnering with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and the National Alliance to End Homelessness to co-host the congressional briefing, “Addressing Homelessness and Housing Instability among Our Nation’s Veterans,” on December 10.

CBPP recently released a research paper looking at the population of veterans in HUD-subsidized housing, and NLIHC released a report on the housing instability among all veterans (see Memo, 11/7). The Alliance has just launched a campaign, Never Another Homeless Veteran, to build public support to end veteran homelessness (see Memo, 11/7).

The briefing will be on December 10 at 10am in room 418 Russell Senate office building. RSVP to Ian Lisman at [email protected] or 202-942-8257.
