Congressional Briefing on Homelessness Awareness Month Scheduled

A congressional briefing to commemorate National Homeless Awareness Month has been scheduled for November 13. The briefing will be held at 11 am in room 2325 of the Rayburn House office building. The briefing is hosted by the National Center on Family Homelessness and First Focus in conjunction with Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) and the Congressional Caucus on Homelessness, of which NLIHC is a member.Featured guests are Representatives Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) and Alcee Hastings (D-LA), Bruce Lesley of First Focus, and Cheryl Vince of the American Institutes for Research.
