The National Health Care for the Homeless Council (NHCHC) will host a congressional briefing, “Breaking the Link Between Poor Health and Homelessness,” on June 22. The briefing will focus on outreach, supportive housing, and healthcare programs that improve health outcomes and prevent and end homelessness.
Speakers at the briefing will include John Lozier of NHCHC, Robert Donovan of the Cincinnati Health Network, Inc. and the NHCHC Board of Directors, Allan Ainsworth of the Fourth Street Clinic in Salt Lake City, UT, and Joseph Benson of the National Consumer Advisory Board.
The briefing will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in room 2325 of the Rayburn House office building.
