Congressional Briefing on Veteran Homelessness and Housing Instability Re-Scheduled

NLIHC is partnering with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and the National Alliance to End Homelessness to co-host the congressional briefing, “Addressing Homelessness and Housing Instability among Our Nation’s Veterans,” on January 10.

CBPP recently released a research paper looking at the population of veterans in HUD-subsidized housing, and NLIHC released a report on the housing instability among all veterans (see Memo, 11/7). The Alliance has launched a campaign, Never Another Homeless Veteran, to build public support to end veteran homelessness (see Memo, 11/7).

The briefing was originally scheduled for December 10, but postponed due to inclement weather. The briefing will be on January 10 at 10 am in room 418 Russell Senate office building. RSVP to Ian Lisman at [email protected] or 202-942-8257.
