The Community Development Studies and Education Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is hosting a webinar on the state of rental housing affordability in the Third Federal Reserve District, which includes eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware. The webinar is on February 10 at 12 noon ET.
The webinar will include a presentation by Eileen Divringi from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on the key findings of a forthcoming report, Affordability and Availability of Rental Housing in the Third Federal Reserve District: 2015. This report analyzes conditions and trends affecting the ability of low income renters to access housing within their means.
The webinar will also include presentations from Linda Couch of the National Low Income Housing Coalition, who will highlight recent developments in affordable housing policy at the federal level, and Joe Willard of the People’s Emergency Center in West Philadelphia, who will discuss the impacts of housing insecurity and homelessness on low income renters.
