Hearing on Housing Finance Reform Scheduled

The Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance, and Investment will hold a hearing, “Returning Private Capital to Mortgage Markets: A Fundamental for Housing Finance Reform,” on May 14. The hearing will be held at 3:15 pm in room 538 of the Dirksen Senate office building.     Scheduled witnesses are Mark Willis of the Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy at New York University, Andrew Davidson of Andrew Davidson & Co. Inc., Philip Swagel of the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and Robert Van Order of the George Washington University School of Business.
