The House Committee on Financial Services has announced a tentative schedule of hearings and mark ups of legislation in its subcommittees. A committee “marks up” legislation when it takes action on a bill or amendments to a bill.
On March 31, the Subcommittee on Capital Markets will hold a hearing legislative proposals on government sponsored enterprises at 10 am. On April 5, this Subcommittee will markup GSE bills at 10 am.
On April 13, the Subcommittee on Insurance and Housing will hold a hearing on a Federal Housing Administration and Ginnie Mae legislative proposal at 2 pm.
All events will be in room 2128 of the Rayburn House office building.
