HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R) seeks comments from the public, due November 4, on its research agenda for the next five to ten years.
HUD asks that those providing comments think critically about the question, “Over the next five to ten years, what do we need to know to improve knowledge gaps that are affecting the execution of good housing and community development policy and practice?” The four areas of research HUD provides for public comments are homeownership and finance, rental housing, housing as a platform, and communities.
The PD&R office is also expected to hold a conference in November to discuss its research agenda. NLIHC will provide details on this conference in Memo as they become available.
Public comments must be submitted by November 4. Go to http://www.huduser.org/portal/research/agenda.html to submit comments.
