IMAGINE: NLIHC’s 2014 Housing Policy Conference will take place on Sunday, April 27 through Wednesday, April 30 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. Regular registration closes April 21, 2014 at 11:59 pm EDT. All registrations received after April 21 will be considered walk-in registrations at the flat rate of $500.
To mark NLIHC’s 40th anniversary, we will spend our conference looking back at the past 40 years of low income housing, and moving forward with solving the housing challenges of the lowest income Americans. With the potential of funding for the National Housing Trust Fund in 2014, conference participants will have the opportunity to learn what they need to do to make sure their states are ready to receive and distribute new money to support rental housing affordable for extremely low income (ELI) households. The conference will also feature sessions with developers of housing that is affordable for ELI households without relying on Section 8 vouchers.
