NLIHC will host two congressional briefings in July. The first briefing, on July 22, will cover how Members of Congress and their staff can assist constituents at risk of foreclosure or who are living in a rental property that is in foreclosure. The briefing will be held in the Congressional Meeting Room South (CVC 217).
The second briefing, on July 29, will provide an overview of HUD rental assistance programs, and will provide resources to Members of Congress and their staff in order for them to better assist their constituents with issues related to HUD-administered programs. The briefing location will be announced at a later date.
Both briefings will be from 10 to 11 am ET.
Advocates are asked to encourage their Members and Members’ staff to attend the briefings.
An invitation to the briefing is available at: www.nlihc.org
