The bills would amend the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) rental housing insurance statute to allow FHA multifamily insurance for work force residential housing, which could be rented for a minimum stay of seven days. H.R. 3825 and S. 2035 were referred to the House Committee on Financial Services and the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, respectively.
