The Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) will host a webinar on April 24 from 11:00am to 12:15pm ET on how housing developers and public housing agencies (PHAs) use the Housing Choice Voucher program to create supportive housing, the impact of current and future funding levels for Tenant-Based Rental Assistance on supportive housing development, and advocacy efforts to increase FY15 funding for vouchers.
The webinar will review an FY14 appropriations proposal for restoring 40,000 Tenant-Based vouchers that were lost due to sequestration and targeting these vouchers to families that are experiencing homelessness, persons with disabilities, and victims of domestic violence.
Panelists include: Melissa Quirk, National Low Income Housing Coalition; Lisa Kuklinski, Mercy Housing Lakefront; Kerry Bate, Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake; Ehren Dohler, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities; and Hilary Gawrilow, Corporation for Supportive Housing.
