The National Housing Law Project (NHLP) announced the third and final free training webinar in its Subsidized Housing Basics series. “Subsidized Housing Basics, Part 3: HUD Multifamily Programs” will cover six federally subsidized programs: Section 8 project-based housing, Section 202 housing for elderly people, Section 811 housing for people with disabilities, Section 236 multifamily rental housing, Section 221(d)(3) Below Market Interest Rate (BMIR) housing, and, the HOME program.
The75-minute webinar will discuss the basics of each program, including: who is eligible for each program, how the admissions process works, how much rent residents pay, and rules regarding evictions. Attendees will have opportunities to ask questions.
