New Staff Join NLIHC

The National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) is pleased to announce three additions to our staff, each filling new and vital roles. Please join us in welcoming Paul Kealey as Chief Operating Officer, Christine Campbell as Vice President for Field and Communications, and Ellen Errico as Graphic Design and Web Manager. NLIHC is pleased to add their expertise, passion, and commitment to our mission to the NLIHC team.

Paul Kealey joins NLIHC with more than twenty-five years of leadership and management experience. Paul has a rich background of developing, directing, and evaluating large and complex operations, staff, and programs in international and domestic community development, human services, volunteer service, environmental conservation, and professional development and training. Most recently, Paul served as a Senior Vice President for NeighborWorks America. He has also held leadership positions with the Corporation for National and Community Service/AmeriCorps VISTA, World Wildlife Fund, and Peace Corps. Paul earned a Master of Arts in Geography at the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations at San Francisco State University. Paul is also a graduate of the Harvard University Kennedy School/NeighborWorks America 18-month Achieving Excellence Program.

Christine Campbell is joining the NLIHC team from the AIDS housing advocacy group Housing Works, where she served as Vice President for National Advocacy and Organizing. Christine is an experienced administrator, policy analyst, and community organizer who has led cross-functional teams and built strong coalitions of advocates and activists. Christine taught a Project Management course as an adjunct professor at the New York University Wagner School of Public Administration. Christine has previous work experience with AIDS organizations as Deputy Director for Technical Assistance and Program Evaluation at the Bailey House, and as Director of Schwartz Housing Services at the Whitman Walker Clinic. Christine earned a Master of Science in Organizational Development at American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Rutgers University.

Ellen Errico is joining NLIHC with not only extensive graphic design and website management experience, but also Capitol Hill experience. Ellen served as a Graphic Designer for the United States Senate Printing, Graphics, and Direct Mail Office. Ellen comes to NLIHC with over a decade of graphic design experience. She has lent her talents to the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the Boss Group, and the American Trucking Associations. Ellen is also the recipient of seven APEX Awards, highly prestigious advertising industry awards, for her branding, logo, advertising, conference materials, and website designs. Ellen received her Bachelor of Arts from High Point University and a Web Design certificate from the Northern Virginia Community College.

Communications Director Sarah Brundage is leaving NLIHC to pursue a Master in Public Policy degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Sarah has been with NLIHC for five years, starting as intern and serving as Executive Assistant, Communications Associate, Communications Project Manager, and Communications Director. She looks forward to remaining part of NLIHC as an active student member.
