NLIHC is a nonprofit research and advocacy organization.

We work on a broad range of housing policy issues that affect low income people, and publish research and analysis to illuminate America’s affordable housing shortage. We use our strategic location in Washington, D.C. to connect advocates from across the country to federal policy work, and to their lawmakers.
