Groups Sponsor Premiere of Film on Youth Homelessness

The National Coalition for the Homeless, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, the National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, and the National Network for Youth are sponsoring the Washington, DC premiere of “Sugar: the Movie.” The showing will benefit Sasha Bruce Youthwork, “an organization meeting the urgent needs of at-risk youth and their families in Washington.” The film is described as, “Based on true events, SUGAR is the story of a young girl on the streets of Venice, California.
