The Strengthening America’s Values and Economy (SAVE) for All Campaign is asking organizations to sign onto the campaign's statement of principles to show the newly elected Congress that the human needs community is unified in our commitment to advocate for a stronger America that actively ensures the well-being of low income people. The campaign is calling on national, state and local advocacy groups, service providers, faith-based organizations, policy experts, and labor and civil rights organizations from every state to join in telling Congress that the needs of vulnerable populations must not be ignored and should be high on its agenda.
NLIHC is a member of the SAVE for All Campaign, as are many of our state partners. NLIHC encourages other organizations to join the campaign by signing onto the statement of principles.
Your organization can sign onto the principles here. The deadline to sign on is December 14.
SAVE for All has four principles:
- Protect low income and vulnerable populations.
- Promote job creation and strengthen the economy for all.
- Increase revenues from fair sources.
- Seek responsible savings from wasteful spending in the Pentagon and elsewhere.
Please reach out to Joseph Battistelli (firstname.lastname@example.org) at the Coalition on Human Needs with any questions.
Thank you for your advocacy – it’s more important than ever!
