NLIHC and advocates in 28 states and DC hosted more than 60 “Our Homes, Our Voices” National Housing Week
of Action events July 22-29, calling for increased investments in affordable homes and strong communities Advocates sent letters and made calls
to Congress, hosted rallies, conducted tours of developments, held press events, and educated their communities and elected of cials about the importance of federal funding for decent, accessible, and affordable homes Thousands (including more than 40 U S senators and representatives) participated in a “#OurHomesOurVoices” twitterstorm on July 27, causing the campaign to trend on Twitter nationally, and advocates
