Supportive Housing Development Program
The Supportive Housing Development Program (SHDP) issues permanent, interest-free loans for the acquisition, rehabilitation, and/or new construction of developments serving populations of homeless or non-homeless households with special needs. SHDP-funded projects must provide appropriate supportive services to residents. Persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness; Victims of domestic violence; Persons with mental illness; Persons with disabilities; Children or youth exiting foster care; Children and youth in foster care; Persons with substance use disorders; Adults reentering the community after being released from correctional facilities
Extremely low-income households (income less than 30% AMI)
