    Our Homes, Our Votes: 2024 Webinar Series

    Our Homes, Our Votes campaign is a nonpartisan initiative to boost voter turnout among low-income renters and elevate housing as an election issue. This webinar series will educate housing advocates, tenant leaders, and direct service providers on nonpartisan ways to engage voters in their communities. Each webinar will cover a different topic at the intersection of nonpartisan civic engagement and housing justice.     DHRC’s Disaster Recovery Working Group

    Wednesdays at 2:00 pm ET

    The Disaster Housing Recovery Coalition (DHRC) is a group of over 850 local, state, and national organizations working in disaster recovery and housing to ensure that all disaster survivors – including those with the lowest incomes – receive the assistance they need to fully recover. The DHRC holds weekly calls to hear updates from members on disaster recovery efforts from around the country, share best practices, and stay up to date on the latest federal changes to the disaster recovery response framework. The DHRC is a nationally recognized leader in federal recovery reform efforts and working group conversations help identify and guide federal policy reform needed to improve FEMA’s disaster homelessness and housing recovery efforts.

    Puerto Rico Working Group 

    Every other Thursday at 3:00 p.m. EST

    The Puerto Rico working group has been meeting since Hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the island and has continued through the recent earthquakes and now the pandemic.
