National Call on HoUsed: Universal, Stable, Affordable Housing
NLIHC provides multiple opportunities for local, state, and national organizations to dive deeper into the critical issues facing our communities during and beyond the pandemic.
Join NLIHC’s bi-weekly National Call on HoUsed: Universal, Stable, Affordable Housing every other Monday from 2:30-4:00 pm ET to learn more about how to advance long-term solutions to end the housing crisis and achieve housing justice. NLIHC’s HoUSed campaign is focused on advancing anti-racist policies and achieving the large-scale, sustained investments and reforms necessary to ensure that renters with the lowest incomes have an affordable and accessible place to call home. Register for NLIHC’s weekly HoUSed campaign call at: https://bit.ly/3ub2sWM
Over the past two years, NLIHC’s Disaster Housing Recovery Coalition (DHRC) has been hosting weekly national calls to share information about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on people experiencing homelessness and America’s lowest-income renters, as well as the responses being carried out by federal, state, and local governments, homeless service providers, housing providers, and advocates. We invite you to continue engaging in these issues by participating in our Disaster Recovery Working Group calls every Tuesday at 3:00 pm ET! Learn more and register at: https://bit.ly/34Efwsa

"Tenant Talk Live” for Resident Leaders
Monday at 6:00 p.m. EST
Tenant Talk Live calls/webinars provide opportunities for residents to connect with NLIHC and one another, to share best practices, and to learn how to be more involved in influencing federal housing policies and to lead in their communities. Normally held once every other month, Tenant Talk Live is now being offered more frequently to inform and learn from resident leaders about how the coronavirus pandemic is affecting their lives and how they are responding.
Our Homes, Our Votes
Monday at 2:30pm ET
Our Homes, Our Votes is NLIHC’s nonpartisan campaign to increase voter participation among low-income renters and to educate candidates about housing solutions. Because of stark disparities in voter turnout between low-income renters and high-income homeowners, too many policymakers turn their attention away from the affordable housing crisis and disregard the housing needs of their low-income constituents. Our Homes, Our Votes aims to break this cycle by providing the tools and resources that housing advocates need to mobilize low-income voters and engage with candidates. The Our Homes, Our Votes webinar series brings experts with frontline election experience to walk through every step of voter engagement and support housing organizations’ nonpartisan election efforts. The webinar will take place every other Monday at 2:30pm ET from April through November 2022.
- Tuesdays

- Wednesdays
DHRC’s Disaster Recovery Working Group
Every Wednesday at 2:00 pm ET
The Disaster Housing Recovery Coalition (DHRC) is a group of over 850 local, state, and national organizations working in disaster recovery and housing to ensure that all disaster survivors – including those with the lowest incomes – receive the assistance they need to fully recover. The DHRC holds weekly calls to hear updates from members on disaster recovery efforts from around the country, share best practices, and stay up to date on the latest federal changes to the disaster recovery response framework. The DHRC is a nationally recognized leader in federal recovery reform efforts and working group conversations help identify and guide federal policy reform needed to improve FEMA’s disaster homelessness and housing recovery efforts.
