Meet NLIHC’s Operations Team!

NLIHC’s Operations team is in charge of all the crucial behind-the-scenes work that keeps the Coalition running smoothly and effectively from one day to the next. In addition to managing finances for the entire organization and directing NLIHC’s daily operations, the team also oversees our databases and content management systems and handles our human resources needs. Finances 

Among the Operations team’s top priorities is providing effective budget and financial oversight, strategic financial planning, and financial analysis for the Coalition. In addition to implementing streamlined processes to optimize efficiency, the team oversees accounting and auditing, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, banking and insurance operations, and financial form preparation. 

Operations 

The team is also responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing the administrative operations that enable NLIHC to fulfill its mission, from managing payrolls and benefits and cultivating relationships with vendors, partners, and grantees to working with facilities personnel to ensure the upkeep of office equipment and maintain the physical quality of our office space. 

People and Culture 

The Operations team manages all aspects of human resources as well, supporting staff well-being and fostering an inclusive culture while overseeing talent acquisition and development, hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational and workforce planning, training, and development.  

Database Management 

Finally, the team oversees the Coalition’s many databases and content management systems, ensuring the effective organization-wide use of Salesforce, related data, and integrated platforms to support NLIHC’s fundraising, membership, and advocacy initiatives and boost staff and organization efficiency and productivity.
