New HUD Publication Highlights the Research Behind Policy

A new HUD quarterly publication, Evidence Matters, is designed to provide policymakers and advocates with an overview of data-driven research from HUD and elsewhere that informs HUD’s current policy initiatives.  The first issue highlights research on the HOPE VI program and describes a new HUD initiative, Choice Neighborhoods. The Choice Neighborhoods Initiative is intended to succeed and improve upon the HOPE VI model of public housing redevelopment.
