New THUD Subcommittee Member Appointed

The Senate Committee on Appropriations named new members to its Subcommittees on June 24. Senator Tom Udall (D-NM) was named to the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee (THUD), a seat formerly filled by the late Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ). Senator Udall was also recently appointed as Chair of the Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee. The Committee appointed Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) to replace Senator Lautenberg on the Committee earlier in the month (see Memo, 6/21).
