Resources for Hill Day Advocacy

Held every year during NLIHC’s Housing Policy Forum, Capitol Hill Day gives advocates the opportunity to meet with their members of Congress to urge them to oppose funding cuts to affordable housing and homelessness programs, expand resources for vital programs, advance anti-racist policies, and support legislation that would improve the lives of millions of low-income people. The advocacy center will be staffed by members of NLIHC’s team who will provide advocates with tools and guidance on what to expect when meeting with members of Congress during Hill Day.

The advocacy center will provide resources to empower attendees to engage in the collective action needed to protect essential housing programs and funding. Now, more than ever, your advocacy makes an impact.

Sign up for Capitol Hill Day by checking the “Yes, I will participate” box when you register for the Housing Policy Forum.

Email [email protected] with any questions.

Advocates should also utilize NLIHC's Advocacy Hub to contact their members of Congress via phone calls and emails about NLIHC’s policy priorities.
