July’s “Tenant Talk Live” featured NLIHC State and Local Research Manager, Sarah Abdelhadi, and NLIHC Research Analyst, Mackenzie Pish. Sarah and Mackenzie discussed survey development and findings from the recently released 2025 National Renters Survey Report. They gave specific insights into renters’ experiences with moving, housing costs and housing assistance, accessibility needs in rental housing, and key findings regarding safe & habitable rental housing. Attendees also had the opportunity to join smaller group sessions during the meeting to discuss feedback, reactions, and unique experiences that aligned closely with the findings shared from the 2025 National Renter Survey.
