Yesterday, NLIHC published The State of Reentry Housing Policy: A Partnership for Just Housing Convening Report. This resource compiles findings from advocates convened through the Partnership for Just Housing (PJH) to discuss lessons from enacting and implementing state and local fair chance housing policies on access to housing for formerly incarcerated and convicted people. The report details key findings from conversations with advocates who had successfully passed reentry housing laws in their communities and offers recommendations for local, state, and federal policymakers and advocates seeking to pass similar legislation.
