NLIHC’s Training Institute for Tenants & Residents (TITR) launched on April 23, 2025, with the goal of empowering renters with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to protect their rights, organize their communities, and influence housing policies. Through training, advocacy, and leadership development, TITR equips tenants with the resources they need to take meaningful action and create lasting change. By strengthening tenant power, TITR works towards a future where all renters have access to safe, stable, and affordable housing.
The first half of TITR featured webinars on organizing, fundraising, and communications—resources designed to help build lasting power in the community. The second half will build on the first webinars and cover topics essential to the housing justice movement. Register here to join TITR’s webinars or to receive the recordings.
