Now Available: Resources from 2/3 “Tenant Talk Live” Meeting

This month’s "Tenant Talk Live" featured Georgia renter and committed tenant advocate Monica DeLancy. In her presentation, entitled A Journey of Resiliency and Advocacy, Monica shared her experiences navigating housing challenges in the Metro Atlanta area and her work empowering renters through the We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association. She discussed the importance of community mapping, evaluating apartment complex incomes, and fostering resident engagement. Additionally, Monica emphasized the need for consistent advocacy, transparency, and collaboration with stakeholders, including elected officials, renters’ associations, and civic groups. She also provided insight into securing grants from various sources to support tenant-led initiatives. To watch this week’s meeting, you can view the recording here. We hope to see you at the next “Tenant Talk Live”! Register for upcoming calls here!
