During a Tenant Talk Live webinar on Monday, April 3, participants joined members of NLIHC’s Tenant Leader Cohort as they discussed how they use organizing and advocacy to effect change in their communities. Attendees learned how tenant leaders from Washington, California, New York, and Florida are empowering tenants to enter contested spaces, advocating for more effective housing programs and policies, and holding policymakers accountable to the communities they serve. Attendees also shared their experiences with housing advocacy and discussed the successes and challenges involved in the struggle for tenant rights. View the full webinar here.
