NLIHC is proud to announce the release of Tenant Talk: Collective Strength Through Adversity. Tenant Talk is a semi-annual publication that engages tenants in housing advocacy and highlights organizing tactics and victories in communities across the country. In this edition, readers will explore the intersection of climate change, disaster recovery, and housing justice. You can sign up to receive a free copy by mail here. Copies are available while supplies last and will be shipped starting the week of May 25, 2026. Contact [email protected] for more information.
In this spring issue, we highlight personal and historical stories from advocates in different fields who have turned challenges into opportunities for success. You’ll find examples of resilience after disasters, ways communities have increased voter engagement, efforts to empower African communities in the housing justice movement, and more. Alongside these stories and interviews, we also share resources from NLIHC’s policy and research teams, including information about HUD program funding and recent report findings.
A digital version of the latest Tenant Talk is now available to all NLIHC members and partners, as well as the general public, for reading or downloading.
If you would like a free printed copy of Tenant Talk sent to you by mail, please submit this form. You can order either one or five copies, but only one order per person.
