Below is a compilation of important information about the difficulty of developing rental housing that is truly affordable for extremely low income (ELI) households, housing that does not require the assisted household to spend more than 30% of income for rent and utilities.  This information, with the exception of the two “additional resources,” were produced in consultation with NLIHC’s Developer Advisory Group.
