The Housing Assistance Program (HAP) is a county-directed (state funded) program that offers rental assistance and a variety of supportive services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness and who can demonstrate that, with HAP intervention, they will be able to meet their basic housing needs in the near future. The components of HAP may include Case Management, Rental Assistance, Bridge Housing, Emergency Shelter, and Innovative Supportive Services.
