City of Philadelphia - Office of Homeless Services
The Office of Homeless Services is a government entity under the Health and Human Services Cabinet within the Mayor's Administration. The mission of the office is to provide the leadership, coordination, planning, and mobilization of resources to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring in Philadelphia. Through Home 4 Good funding the focus has been Prevention and Diversion since 2018: Working to prevent homelessness in the first place and diverting people away from shelters and into alternatives that are effective and safe.
