Vermont Housing & Conservation Board
Vermont

The Vermont Housing and Conservation Board (VHCB) is a public instrumentality established in 1987 to implement both affordable housing goals and protect Vermont’s agricultural and natural lands. VHCB makes grants and loans to municipalities, non-profit organizations and developers of affordable housing. The awards can be used to acquire, rehabilitate, and develop affordable housing. Developments eligible for funding include rental housing, mobile home parks, single-family home ownership opportunities, and service-supported housing for seniors, victims of domestic violence, or persons with physical, developmental, or mental disabilities.
