Grounded Solutions Network released on May 15 its new Inclusionary Housing Database Map. This interactive map identifies over 800 local inclusionary housing programs nationwide and includes data on state-level legislation and judicial decisions that are related to the adoption of local inclusionary housing policies. The tool is intended for both local government staff and local community leaders interested in inclusionary housing programs.
With this map, users can answer questions like:
- What other cities in my state have an inclusionary housing policy in place? How are those policies structured?
- Which inclusionary housing policies in the country have produced the most units? How are those policies structured?
- What does my state’s law say about local jurisdictions’ ability to adopt inclusionary housing policies?
