NLIHC’s network of State and Tribal Partners includes 67 state partners representing 45 states and the District of Columbia, as well as one tribal partner representing tribes in the Northern Plains region. State partners are independent housing and homelessness advocacy organizations that serve whole states or regions within states. Tribal partners are non-profit organizations that serve members of tribes in a particular geographic region. Both partner types prioritize advocacy for the lowest-income renters and households. NLIHC provides extensive support to state and tribal partners, such as support for federal advocacy work, special meetings with HUD and administration officials, and forums for networking and resource sharing between partners.
NLIHC encourages advocates to visit our housing resources hub, to connect with our network of partners on ways to advance long-term housing solutions at the state and local level.
