NLIHC will released Out of Reach: The High Cost of Housing 2020 tomorrow, July 14. The report compares rents and wages nationally and in every state, country, and metropolitan area in the United States. Out of Reach 2020 will show the degree to which, even before the onset of the COVID-19 public health and economic crisis, workers throughout the U.S. were struggling to afford their homes. The report will compare both average renter wages and prevailing minimum wages with the “Housing Wage” needed to afford modest rental apartments throughout the country. You will be able to access the 2020 Out of Reach at: http://reports.nlihc.org/oor
