NLIHC welcomes Catherine Porter as our research intern for the summer. Catherine is a rising senior at Syracuse University, where she is pursuing bachelor’s degrees in policy studies and citizenship and civic engagement with a minor in Spanish. She is from Seneca Falls, NY, where she has worked at the Women’s Rights National Historical Park. Catherine has also interned at the New York State Division of Human Rights and the Syracuse Housing Authority, where she learned about housing discrimination and local housing policies. Catherine is looking forward to contributing to NLIHC’s important research and bringing all she has learned back to Syracuse for her senior year.
