Staff from the Opportunity Starts at Home (OSAH) campaign joined members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for a panel discussion about the connections between housing justice and architecture. Panelists called on architects to go beyond their traditional roles by leveraging their expertise to make a significant impact on housing solutions. During the discussion, representatives from the AIA’s Right-to-Housing Working Group and OSAH shared strategies for promoting the right to housing through expanded design processes and for collaborating with advocates to push legislators to advance equitable and healthy affordable housing policies.
