Recap of NLIHC’s 12/19 National HoUSed Campaign Call

NLIHC hosted a national HoUSed campaign call on December 19. Jeff Olivet, executive director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH), joined the call to discuss a new federal strategic plan to end homelessness. Richard Cho, senior advisor for HUD housing services, shared updates on the House America initiative for addressing the nation’s homelessness crisis. Reverend Mathew Best, co-director of the Memorial Blanket Project, shared information on a remembrance event that took place on December 21. We also heard from NLIHC’s Our Homes, Our Votes campaign team about its new report on housing and homelessness ballot measures in the November 2022 elections. We also received updates from the field and from Capitol Hill.

A recording of the call, as well as the presentation slides, are now available.
