DESCRIPTION: In an effort to assess the effectiveness of North Carolina’s nonprofits, NCRP surveyed thirteen organizations that work with underrepresented constituencies, one of which was state partner NC Housing Coalition. The study revealed that for every dollar invested in these strategies, the sample groups garnered $89 in benefits, and that organizations need sustained resources to respond effectively to future challenges.
