Summary of NLIHC’s 10/24 National HoUSed Campaign Call

NLIHC’s national HoUSed campaign call resumed on October 24. Rasheedah Philips and Jasmine Rangel with PolicyLink joined the call to share an anti-displacement toolkit for expanding housing opportunities and preventing the displacement of low-income communities of color. Stephanie Ettinger de Cuba and Allison Bovell-Ammon with Children’s HealthWatch discussed new research on eviction, household health, and hardships in families with very young children. NLIHC’s End Rental Arrears to Stop Evictions (ERASE) project team provided a recap of last week’s national convening on emergency rental assistance (ERA) and shared the most recent data on ERA spending and reallocation. We also received updates from the field and heard the latest news from Capitol Hill. We have uploaded a recording of the call and the presentation slides.

Join NLIHC’s biweekly national HoUSed campaign call every other Monday at 2:30 pm ET to learn more about how to advance long-term solutions to end the housing crisis and achieve housing justice.
