The Supportive Housing American Rescue Plan (SHARP) Program utilizes HOME-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds to assist people experiencing homelessness, those at risk of becoming homeless and other vulnerable populations. SHARP eligible development activities include the acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction of rental housing or non-congregate shelters. Rental housing projects are also eligible to apply for a capitalized operating cost assistance reserve if they demonstrate a financial need, are not receiving project based rental assistance, and rents are affordable to households earning up to 50% AMI.
