As we reach the end of 2024, the last Tenant Talk Live of the year centered of the upcoming leadership transition in NLIHC, as well as NLIHC’s plans for advocacy during the incoming presidential administration. This month three NLIHC staff joined the call to provide important updates. Brooke Schipporeit, director of field organizing, joined the call to discuss upcoming opportunities for the NLIHC’s annual housing policy forum. She provided more information about the tenant scholarship, which we are now accepting applications for. Kayla Blackwell, housing policy analyst, also joined the call to provide an in-depth review of what housing advocates should expect with the incoming presidential administration and gave attendees a call to action. NLIHC’s incoming interim president and CEO, Renee Willis, joined the call to share more about her vision for the future and provided some words of inspiration to the advocates on the call. To watch this week’s meeting, you can view the recording here. We’ll see you for Tenant Talk Live in 2025!
As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sid Betancourt at [email protected] if you have any questions or feedback. Register for next year's calls here.
