NLIHC hosted a national HoUSed campaign call on January 14. Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) Senior Manager for Government Zach Brown and Senior Fellow David Reich presented “Appropriations 101,” an explainer session meant to demystify the federal appropriations process. NLIHC’s Kim Johnson discussed threats to federal funding for housing and homelessness assistance anticipated over the coming year. Minnesota Housing Partnership Deputy Executive Director Elizabeth Glidden shared what advocates can do to make their voices heard by engaging with their members of Congress to protect these vital investments. A recording of the call, as well as the presentation slides, are now available. The next national HoUSed campaign call will take place on January 28 from 4 - 5 pm ET. Register for the call.
