NLIHC Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Field Organizing Sarah Saadian unpacked DOGE’s proposal to slash HUD staff and its impending impact on state and local communities. Housing Action New Hampshire Director Nick Taylor discussed how to best advocate for HUD programs in our communities. NHLP Deputy Director Deborah Thrope shared a new Story Bank resource for advocates to share their stories to fight back against the Trump administration’s actions. NLIHC Public Policy Manager Kim Johnson and CBPP Senior Policy Analyst Sonya Acosta presented a policy update on housing choice voucher funding. The presentation slides are now available here.
