NLIHC hosted a national HoUSed campaign call on September 9. We were joined by Business Insider Senior Reporter Cecilia Reyes for a discussion about new reporting on illegal evictions. National Homelessness Law Center (NHLC) Executive Director Antonia Fasanelli provided updates on the impacts of the Supreme Court’s disastrous decision in Grants Pass v. Johnson. Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA) Director of Public Policy Matt Noyes shared the advocacy strategies that led to the passage of Massachusetts’s Affordable Homes Act. Finally, NLIHC’s Kim Johnson closed out the call with updates about policy developments. A recording of the call, as well as the presentation slides, are now available. The next national HoUSed campaign call will be held on October 14 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm ET. Register for the call.
